From Tura, Siju is about 125 km away. The route via Baghmara takes around 4–5 hours by SUV due to rugged terrain.

The cave is located near Napak Lake and the Simsang River Reserve in South Garo Hills.

  • From Shillong, it’s approximately 255 km, best accessed via NH62 through Nongstoin and Baghmara, which is a 7–8 hour drive.
  • The cave is located near Napak Lake and the Simsang River Reserve in South Garo Hills.
  • It is advisable to arrange for a local guide or a travel companion who is familiar with the local language and the location.
