Nokrek National Park, located in the West Garo Hills of Meghalaya, is a biodiversity hotspot and a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve. It is home to rare species like the red panda, Asian elephants, and the elusive clouded leopard. The park is also known for its ancient citrus fruit species, believed to be one of the oldest in the world. Visitors can explore dense forests, trek to Nokrek Peak, and experience the rich flora and fauna of this ecological haven.

From Mylliem, the most direct route is via NH106 and NH127B, covering around 122 km in about 3 hours.

Entry to the park is typically through Daribokgre village, which serves as the starting point for treks to Nokrek Peak and the Citrus Gene Sanctuary.
