Experiences

Chandigre Village embraces you with its bamboo homes, orchards, and beautiful forest trails. A place where you can spend all day strolling around on paths lined by the greenery and fragrant flower beds.

Chandigre is known for its traditional bamboo houses, lush orange orchards, and community run eco-resort. What makes Chandigre truly unique is its blend of natural charm and traditional Garo heritage. The villagers live in bamboo and thatched houses, following customs passed down for generations. You’ll find granaries on stilts, open community dormitories (Nokpante), and homes built in harmony. The community also runs the Chandigre Rural Tourism Resort, an eco-friendly stay built in traditional architecture.
